Weekend sewing

Along with a purse for myself, I sewed a zippered pouch and a belt last weekend. Apparently I had belts on the brain after seeing Megan's candy wrapper version at Craft Social. Check those out here.

  1. I love the belt. Where did you get the striped fabric from? I would love to use it as a bag lining.

  2. And Jess, you can quit telling people that you can't sew. (Folks, here's proof of her hard at it!) Okay, so your machine might get a mind of its own once in awhile... ;-) ... but you CAN make some cool things!

    Mum knows.

P.S. Lucy, since Jess is still on vacation and might not be back online for a while, I'll answer for her. The fabric was the Blue/Green Stacks that she designed for her Amusement Park collection. It can be purchased here.

  13. I am addicted to this Blog! It has totally inspired me to be a more creative gal! I was actually laying in bed last night thinking about zipper pouches...I know my way around a sewing machine, but have never installed a zipper. Prehaps a tutorial, Jess? Thanks for all of your lovely blogging.
