Along with a purse for myself, I sewed a zippered pouch and a belt last weekend. Apparently I had belts on the brain after seeing Megan's candy wrapper version at Craft Social. Check those out here.
And Jess, you can quit telling people that you can't sew. (Folks, here's proof of her hard at it!) Okay, so your machine might get a mind of its own once in awhile... ;-) ... but you CAN make some cool things!
Mum knows.
P.S. Lucy, since Jess is still on vacation and might not be back online for a while, I'll answer for her. The fabric was the Blue/Green Stacks that she designed for her Amusement Park collection. It can be purchased here.
Hi Jessica! Thanks for being inspiring...You've been awarded the Lemonade Award for being an inspirational and delightful blog. Click back to my blog to find out how to play along.
I am addicted to this Blog! It has totally inspired me to be a more creative gal! I was actually laying in bed last night thinking about zipper pouches...I know my way around a sewing machine, but have never installed a zipper. Prehaps a tutorial, Jess? Thanks for all of your lovely blogging.
I've been reading you for a while but never commented before. How do you get the corners of your zipper pouch so neat & tidy? Add me to the chorus of voices saying yes you can sew! & furthermore we would all love a tutorial....
I love the belt. Where did you get the striped fabric from? I would love to use it as a bag lining.
