Some 1-1/2" wide ribbon I designed is now
available here at JCaroline Creative. Check out the other lovely ones by Patty Young, too. This was originally going to be part of a fabric pattern, but Caroline snatched it up and made it into ribbon. Alex saw it yesterday and jokingly suggested I make him some suspenders. Yeah, and I'm sure nobody would make fun of him. Right.
Beautiful! This is my favorite design of yours yet!
ReplyDeleteThese would make adorable mini purses a la Klutz press's kit. https://www.klutz.com/catalog/product/1340
ReplyDeletemmm, yummy!
Hmmmm.. when do u sleep? :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love them :)
ReplyDeleteGreat Job! I can't wait to use the blue!
ReplyDeleteI love those! I'd wear them as suspenders. :o)
ReplyDeleteYou make it sound as if I steal things from you! I asked before I snatched-- or did I?...
ReplyDeleteHave you considered making your designs into Rubber Stamps for the craft industry? I love the images.

I think you 'should' make him those suspenders. They'd go right nicely with his stylish new glasses.
ReplyDeleteMum
Sue, okay. Want to find me a manufacturer who would like to pay me?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, everyone, Caroline always asks politely before she snatches. Sometimes she says she MUST have that because it's DYING to be made into ribbon or whatnot. Like it's an emergency. And then snatching occurs. The woman wastes no time.
Lovely! My favorite in the pink.
ReplyDeleteIf I can wear pink pants to visit you guys, he can "man up" and wear these as suspenders.
ReplyDeleteooh, well aren't those just fancy-pants?! beautiful design!
ReplyDeletelove this ribbon. so much that when i get some, i'll probably actually use it instead of just looking at it. LOVE!!! (- emily the teacher)
ReplyDeleteWonderful! A bit different from your usual style, but no less wonderful. I'd love to see it as fabric.
ReplyDeleteWow. Fabulous. I am imagining many fun projects.
ReplyDeleteSo great! It would be super to spruce up a boring black camera strap!
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog via your AT house tour, and have been enjoying it since (especially your occasional typography posts).
And then yesterday at lunchtime I spied a handbag made out of your Peapod fabric being carried into the cafeteria of the Harvard Medical School. It was unmistakable. Congratulations on such lively and popular fabric. I just wanted to let you know that it's popping up all over the place!

Beautiful ribbon, I am going to have to snatch some up!

ReplyDeleteTessa, that's so cool! Thanks for telling me!
ReplyDeletePerfect for something I am working on right now! If I ever get around to ordering and finishing, I'll send you a photo!
ReplyDeletesaweet.
ReplyDeleteThis is the most stunning ribbon I've seen in sometime. Gorgeous!! Off to take a peek...
ReplyDeleteForget the suspenders, I'm picturing a belt! Very nice design!
ReplyDeleteI am guessing suspenders do not hold up stockings in the US as they do in the UK?! Or perhaps I am missing something about your husband..... if you mean they could hold up his trousers (oops, I think you call them 'pants') we call them 'braces'..... are you confused yet? Sarah - from the UK.
ReplyDeletePS Lovely whatever you choose to do with them.
You guessed right! Suspenders are for, er, trousers. Braces are for teeth. :)
ReplyDeleteFab!
