Orange masking tape. Santa left it in my Christmas stocking. He
may have purchased it at our local Blick art store. Or maybe north pole elves manufacture it under the pseudonym
"Pro Tapes and Specialties" and distribute it to Blick. The elves also make tape in other lovely (though inferior) colors, in case you're interested in something besides orange.
That made me laugh... out loud... really. :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, hard up for entertainment around there?
ReplyDeleteYep, nuthin' but buckets around here.
ReplyDelete*gasp* i have a slight addiction to masking tape. and a love for the color orange.
ReplyDeletemust.
have.
this.
You should seek some help for that addiction. Though it sounds like you're in the early stages. The first step is admitting you have a problem. Hee hee.
ReplyDeleteThat is cool but the "inferior colors" part is a crack up.
ReplyDeleteno no...didn't you know that Santa sends elves out to shop at stores on the mainland? He's just too busy at the North Pole building wooden gifts that he has to send elves out to buy tape and ...Fran's chocolates for me.
ReplyDeleteIt's just paper tape. You can buy it cheap online at film expendables stores, like www.filmtools.com. They have various widths as well.
ReplyDeleteLOL Too cute. I guess Santa knows your weakness and is a big ole enabler.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ other lovely (though inferior) colors! I need to get to Blick (although I'd prefer shopping at Good's, but, well, you know).
ReplyDeleteI can NOT believe I'm considering spending $87 on TAPE! But the wonderful (inferior) colors...
ReplyDeleteEndless possibilities!
Oh sorry, I'm being SO blonde. $87 tape here: http://www.dickblick.com/products/col-r-tone-system-masking-tape-class-pack/
ReplyDeleteI've been secretly loving your blog for quite some time...so now I'm letting you know! Here's a Blog LUV Award to brighten your day :)
ReplyDeleteCheck it out here:

Yes, other colors would be inferior. Unless, maybe lime green? That 60's green, you know? And it would go well with the orange. You could make a collage of the two...I'm getting an idea.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, do you seek out other blogs that are obsessed with orange? I read Orange You Lucky. It would be fun to have an orange blogroll...
i love the tape! (but i also love orange, so that explains it)
ReplyDeletealso, good book that's under the tape. i have it as well, and i haven't lost my soul... yet ;]
Just wanted to stop by and say I saw this...

Haha, I've only been reading your blog for a week or so, and already I seem to be noticing more orange things!
ROFL! I never realised so many things could come in orange until I found your blog :0D
ReplyDeleteI've got an award for ya. I realize you probably already have a ton, but I think Orange needs more publicity! Especially orange masking tape. Doesnt get any better than that.
ReplyDeletecome over here to see what it is.
Orange is cool! Love that tape. :)
ReplyDeleteI can understand your addiction to anything orange as I am addicted to anything yellow- and I see it is one of the "inferior" colors the tape comes in. Yeah.
ReplyDeletethat is the sexiest roll of tape i've ever seen
ReplyDeleteHi Jess - Since orange is totally DD's fav, I'm gonna have to get some of that tape....Come to think of it, I've been doing a lot of orange lately....for me. Love it!
ReplyDeleteToo funny!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of colored masking tape other than blue painter's tape.
ReplyDeleteHowever, last weekend I saw orange duct tape in the craft store and thought "hey, Jessica would love that!"
Whoa...orange masking tape! What next? I love it. Lynn :)
ReplyDeletePaperKate, I'm glad I've already got you trained. Nice find.
