Cookie brownies

I'm always looking for easy treats to whip up for guests and just saw these chocolate-chip-cookie-dough-brownie squares. It's a recipe from Betty Crocker, tried out and photographed by Bakerella right here. I love brownies. I love chocolate chip cookies. I love easy recipes. Fantastic.

  4. I love Betty Crocker® Muffin Mix... but it's very difficult to buy them in my city... so, when I go to Madrid I buy lots of them in an American Shop...

  8. I've done this recipe. It's such a favorite of my friends. My husband calls it a brookie (cross between a brownie and cookie). LOL. he's so silly.

  12. These look great. I've seen a lot of good cookie dough/brownie mix variations lately. A good one used cookie dough as the bottom of a bar, topped with turtle brownies. Mmmm.

  17. Thanks for the link! DH made them on Friday for a dinner party, and they were a huge HIT! Although, we tempered the chocolate overkill with some vanilla ice cream.

  19. Thanks for the tip!! Made these today. I used cookie dough out of the tube, since I had it in the house. I also didn't frost them, and thought they were still plenty sweet. Thanks again!!! Miss you Ms. Orange :)
