Kat, this is my understanding about tea towels. They are old fashioned things that originally hailed from Britain and have recently become all the rage. They seem to be thin, printed pieces of fabric that are surprisingly stiff and not useful in any way for drying anything. I'm not sure what they're good for, but they're usually very cute. I think of them as nonfunctional dish towels.
This is an amazing gift from them! I can't thank you enogh. It'll make a perfect gift to a friend, it's exactly her style. This way I can actually afford to give her a present.
And, Jess and Kat, a tea towel is used for drying dishes (I'm guessing you call it a dish towel!). Here in the antipodes, you used to see ones with flowers or maps on them pinned to kitchen walls.
Now they're used for presenting foods, very helpful for bringing a plate! I have a good tea towel which I use for covering loaves of bread while they cool.
wow nice artwork for a calendar.

ReplyDeleteLove the calendar. Thanks! Any ideas on A4 paper procurement in the US?
ReplyDeleteNone. I'd say just print-to-fit on letter size. Trim off any extra if the margins get too big on the sides.
