Make a font from your handwriting

For $9, you can have a font made from your own handwriting. I'm not going to do this, since why would I want to read something in my own bad handwriting when I could use a beautifully-designed font from somebody else? But there might be a cool reason to do it that I haven't thought of. Try it here, at Fontifier.

  4. Well, presumably you don't actually have to use your handwriting. You can fill in the template with anything you like - images, calligraphy, non-Roman alphabets etc. So you could use it to make any new font you want.

  9. How about to capture the early handwriting of a child? I love my daughter's handwriting with the Es with ten arms and the lowercase As with really long tails.

  12. I tried this awhile ago when it was free, and I realized I didn't want something in my own bad hand writing when I have access to some many pretty fonts!
I can't believe that they are charging $9 now. Oh well. I'm sure it would be cool for some things -- but not with my yucky handwriting!
