Look at this website! You can download tons of papercraft models for little dollhouses and shops and all the furnishings that go in them. I would have loved this when I was a kid. (Okay. ReplyDeleteOh that is as much fun as the Canon "creative park' site.... If you want a rough translation, copy the web page address, open Google, click on language tools, paste the address in the bit that says "translate web page" and choose "Japanese to English", hit "translate". You can't download from the translated page but you will know more or less what they are on about...

at the bottom there are pictures in a 'shelf' click on these to see different paper crafts, bugs, food etc. When you click on the picture you like you will have a picture with 3 buttons to the right, the top one is the PDF file for craft, the middle one is PDF instructions and the bottom one you don't need.
PS - I LOVE your fabric too, any chance of any of it making it over to Japan?
I have a quick question. How did you add the downloadable pdf files to your blog? I have a few templates I'd love to add to mine, but am not sure how to go about it.

I love these! I've done about 4 or 5 models of those last year and they are so cute. The only problem is finding a place to put them afterwards since there are 12 models or so, especially since I have two cats dying to destroy it.
ReplyDeleteCurlytop, if your file is a jpg or other picture file, you can create a new Blogger post and upload the image, but don't publish that post. Copy the URL for the image and use that when you make your "click here" download link. Blogger and other photo hosting sites don't let you upload PDFs, though (as far as I've found). Actually I upload all my "downloadable" files to my jessicajonesdesign.com web host storage bin, because I can upload any kind of file there. I really don't know much about this, though, so try our friend Google!
