While browsing online for Christmas presents, I stumbled upon these. I don't really need a clock in my home office since I can see the time on my monitor. But... they're so cute! Left: from Target.com. Right: from Wrapables.com.
Using a clock to actually tell time is so 1980's! It's all about how good it would look on your wall. Those clocks are fabulous and would look great in your office. And with a Target price tag, how can you go wrong? I say go for it!
I like the Target clock a lot. I'm a big fan of orange myself. You do know that the Wrapables clock is a total ripoff of the iconic Nelson ball clock, right?

Sorry if you do know, it's hard to tell how obvious it is or not. The Wrapables one is cheap, but get the original, it's a classic, will never go out of style, and will keep its value. (I have a multicolored one.)
Yeah, I know it's a knock off. Poor George Nelson would probably roll over in his grave if he saw the Wrapables version. But 1) I will never buy a $300 clock. Ever. Although I wouldn't mind if someone gave me one. Hee hee. 2) I actually like the look of this one better. The hands are less clunky. Sorry, George!

These are really cute, like those Nelson clocks (do I have that right?). I think that regardless of whether you have a clock on your computer, these would be like a ray of sunshine on your wall!
Aak! These are great!
ReplyDeleteNaturally, I gravitated to your blog because of the title. Will be back frequently!
I have an orange wall clock! I love it!! It's in my May or April archives if you care to see it.
ReplyDeleteI was curious, but it seems you have 3 blogs and I don't have time to hunt through all of them. But thanks!
