Friday night while my hubby was away on business, I was home alone feeling introverted. So I watched Will and Grace reruns and cut out paper pieces to make this
lucky bamboo plant. It's from Epson's Hong Kong site, which I found via
Paper Forest. I like how it turned out. I think it's cute and funny, the same way I think our fake fireplace video is funny. I'm a nerd. Oh, and if you decide to download the PDF, don't be daunted when you discover that the instructions are in Chinese. You won't need them.
you are not a nerd, this is one of the coolest things i've seen in weeks!
ReplyDeleteso cool - that site has all kinds of fun stuff!
ReplyDeletethat's my kind of plant...no watering needed!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great!
that is really cool - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not nerdy. Or if it is, count me in the nerd club. I'm printing out the cactus right now. My desk needed just the thing.
ReplyDeleteThe cactus with the hat is a hoot. I really like the bottom one tho.
ReplyDeleteReally amazing! I have never seen anything like this... thanks for the link!
ReplyDeletelove it - and that barrel cactus on the espon site!! (not the one with the hat, the other one...) i think that might be the cutest thing i've seen in ages!
ReplyDeleteI know--I love that one, too. Deciding which one to make was tough call. Maybe I'll do that one sometime.
ReplyDeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteSweet! It's Saturday night & fiancee is off to poker. I'm totally fashioning up the bamboo. It's perfect b/c I am not allowed to bring my own plants in to work (what?!) so this is going on my desk. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I think I bought that in North Dakota a few years back; the instructions said "Place on ground, light fuse, stand back at least 100 feet".
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Made In China, too.
Very funny.
ReplyDeleteHuh. Maybe my next project will be paper dynamite. Could be cool....
this is AMAZING! love it!
ReplyDeletei just made this today for a house-warming gift for a friend -- what a fun little project! i'm having a hard time just LEAVING IT ALONE while the glue dries... so the paper keeps getting more and more wrinkly...
ReplyDeletenext time i'll be sure to use cardstock =)
