Home Depot plants are almost always infested with something. If leaves start to yellow, look for evidence of bugs before assuming its your watering schedule/style. If you see any, throw it in the shower whenever it need watering or let it spend a week outside.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7556794318856646559.post-70147617818839088932014-03-18T10:20:02.862-05:002014-03-18T10:20:02.862-05:00I've never seen plants in your place except to...I've never seen plants in your place except tomatoes, so very interesting. When the weather is warm and moist, give it a weekend outside. Not midday sun, but a sunny spot all morning or afternoon. Especially if it is expected to rain some. The second tip is during the winter (I'm in NC) if you notice it is looking dry or dusty, put it in a lukewarm shower for 5-6 minutes. Turn off the shower and leave it in there a few hours to drain. It will come out looking clean and perky. My last palm lasted 7 years until it grew too large and I sold it. Our ceilings are 23 ft. in the living room and a 23 ft. palm has a huge "wingspan." ;)asdfjkl;https://www.blogger.com/profile/03998162954247841124noreply@blogger.com
