Origami skeleton hand

I got a huge kick out of making this creepy origami skeleton hand! It's actually pretty easy, just lots of layers of paper to fold at once. Learn how in this video by Jo Nakashima; design by Jeremy Shafer. I will leave it on Alex's keyboard.

I have been so inspired by the different origami projects that you have shown or mentioned on your blog. It really is amazing what can be made out of a simple piece of paper. And now this creepy hand - I love it!

I love this thing! I'm always amazed at what you can make from origami. I've got to get back into it. LOVE the photo on the keyboard... gives me chills :)

You should leave it poking out of a drawer. : )

This awesome! And creepy! I want to make it, but unfortunately I don't have anyone to creep out but myself right now, and where's the fun in that? :(

I'm thinking maybe doing in a light pink or flesh shade of paper, putting lace at wrist, then putting toy ring on ring finger for a bridal gift. Could do two and make one a groom hand with a bit of black and white for shirt sleeve and tuxedo or suit sleeve edges. Just a thought and would surely take away the "skeleton" look.
