Goodbye Evite, hello Pingg

Finally, a more attractive option than Evite. Has anybody out there tried sending email invitations using Pingg? I think I'll have to next time. The invitations look a lot cleaner. A simple graphic and text, period. You can also upload your own art.

Cool site! I love that they offer a share with facebook option, because facebook events have now pretty much taken place of evite invitations in my world! Going to have to give these a shot sometime :)

I just used Pingg for the first time last night to send birthday party invitations. It was a breath of fresh air, let me tell you! I uploaded my own graphic which was super easy and looked great with the simple, modern look of the site. I am more than happy to say goodbye to evite. Yay for Pingg!

I've already used www.pingg.com once and my guests loved the stylish design and were especially impressed when they got my sms phone reminders and updates. Evite...NEVER AGAIN!

Great find Jess! I'm typically overwhelmed by the cheese factor of evite (and typically pass on functions that use evites, lol), but these look reasonable. I like that you can upload your own artwork! Very cool!

I probably should not admit this but I've tried Pingg. In terms of electronic invites I have to say their designs have a great graphic appeal.

Pingg looks great - thanks for the tip.

THANK GOD! I'm planning my bff's 30th and everyone swears by evite but I find them mostly tacky. This will work much better.

Thanks so much!!!

Wow, Pingg is great. Another one that I've used and liked (also simple and good looking) is enclude.com.

Jess, you are a lifesaver! I was just sitting here thinking, I wonder who would know about nifty e-invites that aren't nasty evites? I bet Jess would!

And you did. Just sent invites to my 29th via pingg. Thanks!

Lovely!

I am going to use Pingg to send out my invites. So much classier than evite.

Note: right now (2/09) they have a gliche...you can't put quotes in your event title. It doesn't save the event name. Just figured it out! Hopefully they fix this.

Whoever posted the suggestion for 'Enclude.com' - thanks so much! Pingg wouldn't save my evite design so i tried Enclude and i liked the format even better! After much frustration, I recommend it :)
