Ten Thousand Villages

I bet everybody already knows about Ten Thousand Villages. But did you know they've been "Trading fairly since 1946"? That's a long time. They work with "unemployed or underemployed artisans to help them bring their crafts and cultures to North America, and to support themselves and their families." To find a store near you, click here, or shop online to buy products like these:

I love Ten Thousand Villages! But you're right, I didn't know they had been around for so long.

We have one in nearby Glen Ellyn IL. They are great stores, and like yourself I didn't know they've been doing this so long. Cool.

Hi! Have you ever looked at Global Mercado? They have an online shop. The women who founded the organization were in Newsweek a while ago.
